Not just Ants on a Log

Here’s a treat that adults and kids will adore. Truly. And it’s kinda nutritious to boot. Use your imagination in choosing the toppings as well as what’s hanging out on the pantry shelf.

Ingredients:

  • Celery stalks, cut into 3 to 4 inch lengths
  • Nut butters like peanut, cashew, almond and hazelnut
  • Chocolate chips or small chunks of dark chocolate
  • Dried fruit pieces such as cherries, apricots, raisins and cranberries, cut into bits as needed
  • Seeds like sunflower, shelled pumpkin, sesame and poppy

Method:

  1. Spread celery stalks with nut butter of choice. Then top as desired with remaining ingredients.
